In 2001 a gracious donation was left for the benefit of the children residing within the Greenwich CSD by the late Norma Gannon.

The Citizen’s Committee for Greenwich Youth (CCGY) is a non-profit organization (501C-3) that continues to help fulfill Norma Gannon’s dream.

The CCGY works collaboratively with the Village and Town of Greenwich, as well as other public and private entities to maximize the impact of these contributions.

The Gannon Fund was built “to be used as a memorial to my memory and the memory of my late husband, James K. Gannon, for the purpose of providing recreational facilities, programs or opportunities for the youth of the community.”
